about Zambia NGO WASH Forum

The Zambia NGO WASH Forum is a membership network of NGOs and CSOs working in water, sanitation and hygiene in Zambia. The Forum’s mandate is to act as a voice for civil society and to contribute to government-led plans in the sector.

Membership of the Forum ranges from large international NGOs to CBOs working at community level. Our members share a commitment to work together to improve water, sanitation and hygiene in communities.

To influence and support performance of the water and sanitation sector for improved and sustainable service delivery in Zambia through advocacy and strengthening civil society participation and coordination

To be the recognised collective voice of civil society in issues of water, sanitation and hygiene in Zambia.

Enhanced capacities of CSOs to plan, coordinate, implement and review water, sanitation and hygiene programmes

A well-coordinated and collaborative sector framework to optimise resource utilisation, institutional capacities and service delivery

Improved learning within the CSO network and in the sector

Improved measurement of results for equitable, effective and efficient water and sanitation services in Zambia.
